One Day Ride

– 7 hours

This panoramic itinerary will take us from the hills to the Apennine mountains, and finally within the Natural Park of the Red Gorge and Frasassi.

Here, we will have the possibility to visit the Frasassi Caves, the largest underground complex in Europe where the biggest cavity could contain the entire Cathedral of Milan. A unique natural wonder that was discovered less than 50 years ago. After the visit, we will have time for lunch near the outstanding Abbey of San Vittore alle Chiuse. This is a Romanesque church surrounded by a luscious greenery that conveys a sense of profound peace.

In the afternoon, we will visit the nearby Temple of Valadier, a sanctuary nestled in the rock and suspended at a great height; from here, we will enjoy a breathtaking view of the Red Gorge.

We will then jump again on our Vespas to reach the wonderful village of Genga on our way back. Surrounded by a spectacle of dense woods, Genga will offer us a picturesque historic center in which we could take a relaxing stroll.
